Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Adds an extra layer of protection on top of Wink Identity’s biometric recognition.
Depending on the configuration of your application and the methods a user has linked to their WinkID, the SDK may request an additional verification step after facial recognition.
2FA is adaptive: the SDK only triggers it when required (e.g., high-risk login, low facial-match confidence, new device, suspicious environment, customer-defined policies, etc.). Wink Identity Web SDK currently supports the following 2FA methods:
- Palm Verification (mobile-only)
- Account-Based Verification (e.g., Okta)
- Voice Verification
